The Muppet Movie came out in 1979 and tells the story of how the Muppets came to be, as in the story of Kermit going from his swamp to Hollywood. As Kermit leaves his swamp to accomplish his dream he runs into Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Miss Piggy, and The Electric Maheym band and he brings them along with him. They go through many adventures as they make their way and also steer clear of a business man who wants Kermit for their Frog Legs resteraunt commercials.
